One of our favorite parts about featuring real brides on the blog is learning all about their proposal story, and Eden and Matthew's proposal story reads like something straight out of a movie. I mean, when a proposal involves an oyster boat, family, and "Say Yes" signs, and the bride is completely surprised, well, that sounds just about perfect.
Eden and Matthew tied the knot in one of the most festive places in the world: New Orleans. The I Dos took place at the St. Joseph Catholic Church and the reception was held at the English Turn Country Club. The wedding was a blend of elegance and tradition. The bridesmaids wore red and the groom and his groomsmen were clad in navy blue suits. Eden wore our Camille dress which she purchased from our Denham Springs, Louisiana retail partner, Natasha Marie Bridal. She styled it with a sparkle-trimmed veil and a beautiful headpiece. The entire ensemble was perfect for an elegant wedding, plus Eden could not have looked more beautiful!

The Proposal..
Matthew proposed while our families were together on his family’s oyster boat at the Blessing of the Fleet in Empire, Louisiana. Our siblings held up signs that said “Say Yes Eden!” When I saw them holding the signs, I turned around to see Matthew down on one knee. I was so shocked- everyone was in on the plan but me!
The dress..
Natasha is a family friend of ours, and she has a beautiful boutique in Denham Springs, Louisiana. I knew I’d found the right dress when I turned around so my sisters and mom could see me in it, and I saw the huge smiles on their faces. I remember thinking that Matthew would love seeing me in it as I walked down the aisle!
Favorite memories..
My favorite memory is dancing with all of our family and friends at our wedding reception. It was a blast! During the last song, all of the people on the dance floor came in for a huge group hug. We felt so loved and blessed!
Congratulations beautiful Eden! Thank you for allowing us to be a part of your special day!
