When Danielle and Bradley tied the knot at the enchanting Cheers Chalet, their wedding was a true fairytale brought to life. The celebration was filled with rich, dreamy colors that perfectly complemented the elegance of Danielle's stunning wedding gown. Their wedding was a beautiful blend of love and joy, with every detail thoughtfully planned to reflect their unique bond. We're so excited to be sharing this stunning bride and her equally handsome groom with you today! Their photos radiate absolute joy and we are so thankful to have played a part in it! We hope you enjoy getting to know Danielle and Bradley as much as we did!
How did you and your partner meet, and what was the moment you both knew you wanted to spend your lives together?
Bradley and I originally met eleven years ago at Wittenberg University in Springfield, Ohio. I was a music major who gave him a vocal lesson to prepare for an upcoming musical audition. We went our separate paths and I moved to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania for a few years. I came back to Ohio for a friend’s wedding in October 2022 where I met Bradley again. It was eleven years later and both of us were much older! We knew within two weeks of reconnecting that we would get married. We had so much in common and such a strong, genuine connection. I like to believe it was the invisible string theory at play. It suggests that we are all linked to those we love, regardless of physical distance or separation, by an intangible, yet powerful bond.
What was the most memorable part of your wedding day? Any unexpected or funny moments?
I would say the most memorable part of our wedding was our first dance. We danced to “Ilym” by John K. Bradley choregraphed it and we practiced for a month. We had a lift in there too which was so much fun to do in my dress! It was beautiful to be surrounded by everyone we love too. The funniest moment was our entire reception honestly! We built the ultimate millennial playlist that left no room for breaks. We had someone rip their pants and a few people fell while dancing.
Did you incorporate any personal or cultural traditions into your wedding? What did they mean to you?
We both love music so we had someone play live piano for our wedding! We incorporated music from video games, movies, musicals and a few of our favorite artists as well. It was super cool to hear our guests notice songs that they knew!
How did you know that your Evelyn Bridal dress was “the one”? Was there a moment during the fitting that felt just right?
I knew my dress was the one when I didn’t want to change a single detail about it! It was so comfortable and I felt like a princess. I cried when I put it on the second time after trying on a few more dresses.
What were the details or design elements of your dress that made you fall in love with it?
The cape!!!! It’s so beautiful and unique. I loved the deep V-neck too with the sparkly bottom of the tulle skirt. It’s the perfect blend of whimsical and romantic. The train on Clara is gorgeous too.
Did you have a specific vision in mind for your dress, or was it something that surprised you along the way?
I thought I wanted a mermaid style so I was very surprised to love an A-line dress! I did know that I wanted lace on the top only. I wanted the bottom to be a bit simpler so that the eye is drawn to the bodice.
If you could give advice to other brides about dress shopping, what would you tell them?
I would tell them to try not to overthink their decision! The truth is that we could make multiple dresses work if we continuously kept looking but it’s all about finding what feels authentically like you and makes you feel beautiful.
What does your Evelyn Bridal dress mean to you now, and do you plan to keep or preserve it in any special way?
I’ll always cherish my Evelyn Bridal dress and I plan to preserve it! I still occasionally look at your collections because I just love your bridal designs.
What are you most looking forward to in your married life? Any special plans for the future?
We are looking forward to moving to a new state and continuing to travel over the next few years. We are going on our honeymoon to the Caribbean in December for Christmas so that’s going to be so much fun too!
Congratulations Danielle and Bradley! We are wishing you a lifetime of beautiful memories and boundless and joy together!
