When it comes to bridal trends, few styles have been as versatile as bridal jumpsuits are today. Not only are they an elegant option for the rehearsal dinner, but they’re also a chic option for a civil or minimalist wedding ceremony! Plus, bridal jumpsuits are one of the very few styles you can actually wear again after your wedding to any elegant soiree.
While there are myriad variations of jumpsuits - from sultry, heavily beaded styles, to clean and understated - our favorite, of course, is our Salem jumpsuit (which also has a dress version!) because it’s equal parts feminine pretty and modern chic.
On that note, we’ve put together a few ways to style Salem, both to inspire you, and to showcase just how versatile this little number really is!
1. Understated elegant wedding reception
Picture a no-fuss minimalist wedding reception with crisp white details encompassing everything from the wedding invitations to the table decor - oh and we’d definitely add a touch of gold to create an elegant, if subtle, contrast. We’d pair Salem with a simple ivory open-toed heel, and a small golden headband with just the right amount of floral details.
2. Ethereal beach wedding ceremony
Salem is the ideal style for a destination beach wedding because, well, it’s so light and easy to pack! And speaking of lightness, we’d keep the decorations just as light and airy: draperies, tablecloths, and just about everything in between. To style Salem, we’d use soft, medium-sized floral details on the hair, like the headband pictured here, and a pair of cute sandal wedges - sparkle optional!
3. Solange-inspired rehearsal dinner
We love Solange Knowles’ eclectic sense of style (did you see her wedding jumpsuit? Seriously chic!) and can definitely see Salem styled in a Solange-esque fashion for an elegant rehearsal dinner. We’d start with an easy natural hairdo, and an almost white ivory nail color, nice hoop earrings and simple rings and bracelets, plus a long understated necklace calling attention to the deep V neckline. Our shoe choice would be a pointy ivory or white heel, and voila! Your guests will be talking about your super chic sense of style for a long, long time.
